  9. (Lack of) Oceanfronts – As much as Utah has a lot of nice outdoor activities and sports that you can enjoy in Utah, there are no ocean fronts in the state. Utah is landlocked. If you are a beach bum, this might not be the best state to move to.
  10. Weather Condition – Utah has good weather conditions. You get to appreciate warmth in the summer and reasonable winters except you are in some of the mountain locations. Some parts of the state can reach as high as 115 degrees Fahrenheit and some 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. During winter, the weather is usually about 20 degrees almost across the state. Sometimes, it falls below 10 degrees.
  11. Culture – The people of Utah have been described as very nice people and are liberal and progressive. As much as the people are nice, research shows that the state lacks cultural diversity. If you are looking to settle in a place with a variety of cultures, this state might not be the state for you. However, if you do not mind the lack of diversity, then you can consider moving to Utah.
